For those of you wishing you could have an adventure elopement, but are leaning more towards a large wedding at a venue, consider an adventure engagement session. Some perks of doing this are, you get to dress up for a day and go on a date hike with your partner in crime. When else do you get photos by a waterfall or mountain in anything more than spandex pants and your favorite hat?!
For some couples, they use this adventure session as a "trash the dress" session after their wedding. Noxon Photography does not allow vow renewals or ceremonies in adventure or engagement sessions as we believe your wedding day deserve so much more time than that. We offer our elopement packages starting at 4 hours, because our own waterfall wedding ceremony felt so rushed. We immediately took photos after we said our I-do's and had to leave within an hour. I still wish we had far more time together, before our reception of 160 guests began. If we could do it all over again, we'd have eloped right here in the Catskill Mountains and had a small dinner with our close friends and family at my favorite Air BNB, and held a BBQ later in the year.
An engagement session in the Adirondacks, Catskills and Finger Lakes is amazing any time of year. We love all 4 seasons and are more than willing to shoot in any conditions, as long as they're not dangerous. We are knowledgeable about hiking, and equipment needed in all weather conditions. We abide by leave no trace and keep our trails and water clean.
