Whiteface Mountain Elopement Wedding

Did you know, you can rent the summit of Whiteface Mountain for your elopement or wedding? How amazing is that! The Adirondack Mountains are a stunning place to get married. If you're a nature lover, and want to get married in the great wide somewhere... New York's landscape is very diverse.

This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Brandon's wedding ceremony on the Veterans Memorial Highway. Currently, due to COVID-19, you can not rent the normal ceremony venue at the summit, and the castle is closed. However, you can drive up the Veterans Memorial Highway and elope on any of the scenic view pull offs if you do not plan on having any guests. There is no coordinator, chairs or floral arrangements. But the beauty of a simple elopement in the mountains, is you don't need all of that. A backdrop of giant mountains? Did you really ever need an altar?
