Winter Adirondack Elopement at High Peaks Rentals
Sara got dolled up in Lake Placid, while Kale got ready at the High Peaks Rental. They kicked off their big day at Henry's Woods for their first look!
Kale, Witt (my husband and other half!) and his mom hiked to the middle of the forest and waited for Sara's big arrival.
From there, we headed to High Peaks Rentals where they would say their vows, and share their first kiss as husband and wife!
They invited their immediate families and closest friends, or as they called them, "non-blood relatives," (and I feel that to my core!)
These two are going to live a happy life together full of love and laughter.
What their 4 hour timeline looked like:
1:00 pm- Meet at Henry's Woods trailhead.
1:15 pm - Groom and photographer #1 (Witt) arrive at first look location (Short, quarter mile trail.)
1:20 - Bride and photographer #2 (Britt) arrive at first look location.
1:30 - First look.
1:45- Portraits with bride & groom, as well as family who hiked!
2:30 - Hike back down.
3:00 - Leave Henry's Woods & go to ceremony location; High Peaks Rentals. (25 minute drive.)
3:30 - Arrive at High Peaks Rentals.
3:45 - Ceremony.
4:00 - Portraits with friends & family.
4:30 - Candid photos, first dance, cake cutting, dinner, or whatever floats your boat!
4:45 - Golden hour portraits (in February, would be later in summer & fall.)
5:00 - Photographers depart.
